My name is Colleen, and welcome to the blog! I have been a writer for most of my life. My work had been featured on several websites, like Explorer Gear and with New Hampshire State Parks. Writing is my passion. It had helped me through many difficult periods in my life. I am excited to launch this new project.

I have mostly focused on writing about my adventures. I have made a decision to share a bigger part of my life. I grew up in an unconventional household due to my Mothers lifelong struggle with alcohol. My childhood was chaotic and traumatic. I always had a complicated relationship with my Mom. Unfortunately she lost her battle with in 2015. This left me with emotional challenges, but had also helped form the person I am, and my values.

I have realized that our lives are short. We often spend them focused on the wrong priorities. We are fragile and at the end of road, we can’t take any things with us. I believe we should spend less time on possessions and more time on experiences. I am now focused on creating a life that reflects.

I want to share a realistic picture of children of alcoholism. Often on social media things become whitewashed. I want to move away from that. I want to share my journey and every part of it. Even the hard parts. I hope to inspire others. Everyone faces challenges, but we can all move past them to create meaningful lives.

This blog is for anyone who is looking to create a unique life. I want to share my adventures and experiences and show readers fun ways to explore their passions. I also want to touch on mental health, fun adventures and maintaining healthy relationships.

I am excited to have you here. I plan on this being an exciting eye opening adventure. I sincerely hope you enjoy it. Look around and I hope you find something that inspires you. Also if you have any feedback read out to me, I’ll be happy to respond!

Till next time,
