Tiny Reflections

Near the end of April, I made a decision to leave my job. At the time the concept was new, and somewhat terrifying. We are so used to structure and routine. A break from this can throw us off balance. Yet a decision that was somewhat terrifying has turned into one of the best that I have ever made. It has been almost two months now. And looking back I am happy that I did. Too often time we are too focused on the destination. Right now I am taking a few moments to enjoy the journey. And now I have so much to write about, I have no idea where to start.

There have been two trip cross country. One to the West, One to the South. I have seen things that I could never imagine. I cannot wait to share both these journeys and the pictures I took along the way. Its been a summer of living cheaply, and pinching pennies. Yet the things I have seen, and the moments of contemplation have made it worth. I have learned not only about this country, but about my own self. Without all the noise and stress of work I have realized who I am and where I am going. I have realized how strong I am, and how deep I am willing to dig.

It most definitely have made it all worth it.
